Community Groups

Center City Church exists to be a family of God that is centered on knowing Christ and making Him known. Therefore, Community Groups (CG’s) exist not merely for relationship, but to pursue Christ together - using deeper relationships within God’s family as the context to treasure and display Him. Therefore, Community Groups exist not merely for relationships, but to pursue Christ together through deeper relationships within God’s family as a context to treasure Him.

Community Groups are primarily for members and those who are on the path toward membership with Center City Church. Although, if you are not yet a member, you are welcome to join as it’s a great view into how our church members function as a family. Most groups meet 3 times per month in someone's home; typically, each gathering includes three key elements:
🍲 A Shared Meal
📖 Bible Study (discussing the sermon scripture)
🙏 Prayer (time to share burdens, joys, and pray for each other; typically this is done in smaller breakout groups of men and women)

"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer… Every day they continued to meet together… They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, and the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." Acts 2:42, 46-47
