What to Expect on Sunday

At Center City Church, we are a family of God centered on knowing Christ and making Him known. Join us for Sunday services!

A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We begin with a welcome and time of worship, turn to our Savior in a time of confession, and continue worship with song. One of our pastors, G’Joe Joseph or James Lecheler, will preach over a text in Scripture and then we will join in a time of communion. After the service ends, we gather outside to enjoy coffee, donuts, and fellowship with one another!

We have just begun a Sunday School program for ages 0-10. This includes gospel-centered teaching for ages 5-10 and intentional activities and supervision for children 4 and under during the sermon portion of our service. At the same time, we see children as integral members of our church family and welcome them to sit in the service if that is your preference. 

As of March 1st, we have changed our masking policy per the guidelines given by the California Public Health Department.

Per the new guidelines, Center City Church leadership is no longer "strongly recommending" the use of masks. Every family and individual has the freedom to wear or not wear a mask during our public gatherings.
